Privacy Policy — Lice Treatment Portland
Privacy PolicyWe collect only what we need to book your appointment and treat your family. We don't sell data, and we keep our tracking footprint small. Here's exactly what we do and don't do.
Last updated: April 2026
When you use our website or services, we may collect:
- Contact information you provide through our booking request form (name, phone number, email address, preferred location, number of people, and any notes you include).
- Appointment details necessary to schedule and deliver treatment (service location, hair length, treatment history).
- Payment records handled by our payment processors (we do not store credit card numbers ourselves).
- Technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate location (city-level), and pages visited, collected by Cloudflare (our hosting provider) for security and performance purposes.
We use your information only for the following purposes:
- Scheduling, confirming, and providing your appointment.
- Contacting you with appointment details, reminders, or follow-up care information.
- Processing payments and providing receipts.
- Maintaining records required for our 60-day treatment guarantee.
- Improving our website and services (in aggregate, non-identifying form).
- Complying with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate our business, and only as needed to perform their functions:
- Web3Forms — delivers your booking request from our website to our email.
- Square — handles online booking and payment processing for appointments.
- Cloudflare — hosts the website and provides security and performance services.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on our site (proxied through Cloudflare for privacy).
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.
We keep appointment records for as long as needed to honor our 60-day guarantee, provide ongoing service, and meet tax or legal recordkeeping requirements (generally seven years). Website form submissions are retained in our email for normal business correspondence purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we have about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information (subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations).
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@licecharmers.com or call 971-484-1696.
Our services treat children, but our website is intended for parents and guardians. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure payment processing, and limited access to records. No internet transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected prominently on our website.
