Lice Treatment Portland is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
- Semantic HTML structure that works well with screen readers.
- Keyboard navigation throughout the site (you don't need a mouse).
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
- Text that can be resized without breaking layout.
- A responsive design that works across phones, tablets, and desktops.
Physical access to our clinics is limited. Both our Portland and Beaverton clinic locations are on the second floor and are accessible only by stairs — there are no elevators at either site. If stairs are a barrier for you or anyone in your family, our in-home mobile service brings the same treatment to your home and is the right option for you. We're transparent about this because no one should arrive to find out they can't get in.
If you have other accessibility needs — sensory, behavioral, or anything else — please let us know when booking so we can prepare appropriately.
Despite our best efforts, some areas may not be fully accessible. Third-party embedded content (such as external booking tools or review widgets) may not meet the same standards as the rest of our site. We are actively working on these issues.
If you encounter accessibility barriers on our site or need information in a different format, please contact us:
- Phone: 971-484-1696
- Email: support@licecharmers.com
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
Content on this website — including articles on lice treatment, identification, and removal — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, dermatological, or veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Lice Treatment Portland technicians are trained professionals in lice removal, but we are not medical doctors. If you have a medical condition, open wounds on the scalp, a weakened immune system, or other health concerns, consult a licensed healthcare provider before seeking our services or following any advice on this site.
While our one-visit treatment method has a high success rate, individual results may vary based on factors including hair type, severity of infestation, and compliance with aftercare guidance. Testimonials reflect the experiences of specific customers and are not guarantees of outcome. Our 60-day guarantee covers qualifying cases as described on that page.
Our site may link to external websites (Google Maps, Square booking, review sites, etc.) as a convenience. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of external sites.
This website and its content are provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the site or its content. Use of the site is at your own risk.
